I hope untill now no sources need to be provided

when Arch provides the sources he claims exist to support the fact that Noah is older than Sumer you'll have to provide some Rene
until then you don't

The difference between an ape walking on his legs occasionaly and a human being doing it permanently
you can't even make this a fact nor trace it anywhere in history as to even happening so why are you believing it?

again it just proves to what lengths evolutionary scientists will go to hold onto their theory when faced with the crippling evidence that it can never be proven true. so again, why believe it?

by the way Rene, your style of writing needs some work.

"Oliver" is a habitually bipedal ape that has captured the imagination of both laypeople and scientists.
do you like being wrong all the time Arch

After years of lively debate, Oliver's DNA was sampled to settle the issue and perhaps provide us with a breathing version of the missing link. The results are in ... and, alas, Oliver is just a standard-issue chimpanzee with a penchant for walking
post the whole story before declaring me wrong.

err no dumbass
you were claiming that we aren't related to apes because they don't ever walk upright
you have short term memory loss or something
i bet your diary is extremely empty
like your brain

any sign of those links that you were demanding from everyone else but are unable to provide yourself yet despite being asked almost ten times ?

Another possibility is that his bipedalism and behavior were due to domestication and animal training.
and this...

are you claiming that we don't teach our children how to walk now
or how to speak
or how to read
or do any of the things that seperate us from animals
this is what happens when they dont get that training
http://www.feralchildren.com/en/index.php

if god were doing it Arch then Feral children wouldn't exist
they'd all walk out of the bush with delightfully polite accents and ask the way to the nearest church

here is an interesting article on the belief in evolution:

http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg1 ... 125653.700
A survey of 32 European countries, the US and Japan has revealed that only Turkey is less willing than the US to accept evolution as fact
wonder why Korea was left out, since they included Japan?

Why doesn't America believe in evolution?

Too many Fundys!
no i think that many people see the fallacies of evolution and influence more. the fundamentals probably hurt their cause more than they help it, especially when compromisers allow for alternative theories to place bits and pieces within the creation account.

i also think that too many people lose sight of what words actually mean and end up confusing the issue by accepting terms that have no business being used.

as an example: 'mutation'-- this is a change that is not normal but has taken place do to some outside influence, whether it be disease, medicine, or whatever. it is not micro-evolution in practice.

Sorry I skipped thisforum for a day but when picking up again I had a good laugh .This is better than any comedy show on TV .
But before carrying on I must of course apologize to Arch who seems to take it for granted that a person from a non - english speaking country should write fluent english .But no worries Arch I 'll work on it .Meanwhile you'll just have to make the effort youself .
You want me to prove that humans started walking on their legs instead of on all four? Is that so? I think I would offend all the rest of the posters if I had to demonstrate what everybody knows .Have you ever read any books at all about evolution ? I mean others than those written by creationists? This is a simple easy question I HAVE to ask as it appears you are not only opposed to evolution but also completely ignorant of the concept . I am willing to explain whatever you want as long asI don't have to back up my claims extensively with citations from other books.
Are you willing to engage in a debate based on aquired knowledge and common sense ?

No. He'll sidestep or just plain ignore any hard questions you ask him. Either that or he'll fall back on magic and miracles and god said so and the bible. He has no hard evidence for anything other than his own pig-headedness. BTW Rene I think you're writing is actually pretty good considering english isn't your native tongue. Arch has to try to make others look dumb in order to make himself seem intelligent. No person on this forum insults others as much as he does. Nobody likes him here. I don't know why he comes back. He's like a whipped dog looking for crumbs. "Git outa here mutt!"
