I've got no answer for that one, either. He needed some way to get from Canaan to Mycenae? Bad drugs?? Hallucinations
i don't remember exactly if he explained how the offshoot or lost israeli's got to greece. maybe the minoans took them for free, i don't know.

the one thing that bothered me was the wasted time on the special effects. he could have used those few minutes to beef up his points but no, he had to make it for MTV instead of reality.
What's to discuss
plenty. what proof do you have for this denial of yours?
When you start off as wrong as he was there is no "easy stuff
i would have to view it again to see if he was right on anything.
Can't worry about the biblical account which is fictitious
so that is why you take finkelstein's side. it is retribution for all those years of having to study the Bible as a kid. just saying it is fictitious, or it didn't happen or that it was written later, does it make the biblical record go away.

listening to fabrications by dever and friends doesn't alter the truth which must be dealt with.

I was catholic before I resigned. No studying bible bullshit. They had their own little booklets. And they were just as fucked up as any other bible-thumpers.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

For the 4001st time....archaeology dismisses as total fiction most of the bible's nonsense prior to around 700 BC. It was all written down around then...cobbled together from various legends and plain old wishful thinking.

There is no biblical record. There is just bullshit until much later on.

You can keep saying it over and over but that will not breathe life into your tired old book.

He is not Danish.

I heard that he loves a danish with his coffee, though.

i ask for proof and he gives me a statement with no corroborrating evidence. so it is safe to continual in the nowledge that the Bible has been around longer than that.

i should clarify that the present version of the Bible was done during the council of nicea in 325 b.c., [done by memory] but the books themselves have existed from their original writing in some form or another from long before 700 b.c.

obviously since moses wrote the first five books his versions were done long before that date mentioned. how they were preserved we do not know. the book of Job is said to be the oldest book written and supposedly pre-dated the writing of the pentatauch.

but i am going on memory and need to look this up again.

But archaeology dismisses both Moses and the exodus as fictions.

You believing it means exactly nothing.

It's like auto racing.

One goes around in circles wasting gas and getting nowhere.
