Do you mind if I verify that statement - about you helping him translate Pokotia? Possibly he won't remember it.

I said I helped with the inscription by pointing out that it was written at Nazca in mile high letters

Beagle, I will hang in here. I am not looking to get into a big back and forth but this is an intersting topic. Nobody would love to see proof of a Sumerian connection to South America more than me. That would be way too cool!! Just saying that I need a rigorous proof before I am accept a concept!

Digit, I am not talking exactly the same translation. I know the difficulties of ancient translations even if I have no ability there. What I mean of course is if one translation says "this is dedicated to the great mother goddess" and the next says "the king won a great battle here", obviously those two dont match. That would cast a great deal of doubt for me as to the validity of this being real cuneiform.

Ok, back to work before I get fired!

That depends to a great extent on whether or not the theory in question is "Club endorsed". Their standard of proof for their own theories seems to be somewhat lower.

Still have yet to find any real discussion of either of these pieces by any of the so-called experts. The University of Lieden in Holland has some stuff posted but it is all hidden behind their firewall.

Min, and interested folks. I'd like to continue with Potokia shortly but without all this crap. Since the day I came to this forum, I have not written Michelle, asking her to help with a problem

I'm getting very close to it.
