Oh, if you had a use for them I could see the utility of moving bones. As Take3 suggests, the bone itself is not THAT heavy but you'd have to butcher the meat off it.

Cavemen lived in caves....in areas in which caves existed. What sorts of shelters were used by peoples who did not live in regions which were dotted with caves? Some sort of yurt or teepee? But would the Club give them credit for such an ability when they steadfastly refuse to credit them with boats or bows and arrows?

Tents, teepees, or yurts. Whatever you'd like to call them. Made of hides and uprights.
As I said: in the Ukraine mesolithic man (predating Monte Verde by 10,000 years!) used mammoth tusks by the hundreds for those uprights (they built big houses/tents).

I wouldn't presume to know that. I just deal in facts, possibilities, and probabilities. And since mesolithic man everywhere else had already been building shelters for at least 10,000 years it is likely the Monte Verdeans did too.

OTOH, some people are indeed too stupid to get out of the rain, of course. Your 'Club' is a prime example.

Would a higher sea level at the time have any effect on the vegetation growth and air density at the pass?
(I don’t know that it was higher at the time.

It was the height of the Würm ice age, kb. So sea levels were a lot lower than today. A couple hundred feet at least.
