Not if you keep breeding back to the mammoth stock DNA. Eventually the Elephant DNA will be lost, as appears to be the case, possibly, with HSN X HSS.Losing its wannabe characteristics in a few generations.

Yep, they became barking, tail-wagging lapdogs and lost their typical fox coat.Minimalist wrote:In Dawkins' latest "The Greatest Show on Earth" he recounts an experiment by he Russians to create "tame" foxes. I'll re-cap it later, this is going to be a busy morning.
i'd settle for a centaur or minotaur.Minimalist wrote:You aren't demanding to see a crocoduck, are you uni?
You know Zahi is the king of bollocks, Frank! Why should this time be any different? So I'd be very wary of his statements.Frank Harrist wrote:OK, Discovery channel answered all the questions about Tutankhamen and his parents tonight. Akhenaten was his father. They found his mummy, for sure. They know which mummy was Tut's mom, but not who she is. It was a pretty good show. Zahi wasn't near the showboat he usually is. He traced it all down and tied up a lot of loose ends. I was impressed. http://heritage-key.com/blogs/ann/king- ... ry-channel Actually I think part of it was on Sunday. I Tivoed it and watched it last night.

Zahi wasn't doing this alone. I'm with you on your opinion of Zahi. I agree, but he did a pretty good job this time and didn't even piss me off. I deleted the program after I watched it. Sorry. I was satisfied with the proof they presented. I'm not easily satisfied in that respect. Watch for it on Discovery or one of those other channels that recycles old documentaries. Zahi used lots of experts to help him. He chased down leads and then had experts to test the DNA. They were pretty thorough. First time in a while that I'm buying what Zahi's pushing.Rokcet Scientist wrote:You know Zahi is the king of bollocks, Frank! Why should this time be any different? Can you upload that file/show for us to see, please?
You could upload it – using e.g. http://www.wetransfer.com/ – to your own email address, then open that email message, copy the link that's in it, and post it here for us to enable download.
And I take it you don't have an automatic incremental backup scheme rollin' that you could restore it from?Frank Harrist wrote: I deleted the program after I watched it.
Thanks, but there's just a couple 90 second clips there, unfortunately. Not the whole episode.
