Afraid of digressing to much of the topics of this forum I desperately looked for an excuse to find a reason for posting an off-topic .Shall I call it the menace floating over the future of archaeology .If mankind would happen to disappear from the earths's surface it would end all dialogue, all enquiries ,al logics and to me the end of the meaning of the universe itself .As without mankind the cosmos would be an empty place .One can sit in a cabin somewhere in the Ozarks looking for wisdom and live the life of a hermit and contemplate . But when one has children responsibility and sheer love dictates adifferent approach .One becomes engaged in a battle, one has to dirty ones hands. Minimalist confirmed with the hyperlink regarding the position evangelicals take in the matter of the upcoming global climate catastrophe that the day will come all of us will have to react vigorously to superstition in the name of humanities survival.I think the US have a keyrole in this as it producersthe bulk of the carbon emission ,if not half of it .
China will eventually adapt much faster to the menace lurking over us as the political structure and the lack of influence by religious doomthinkers render a fast and efficient answer to it less difficult . Democraty is a nice tool but some times it is a pain in the a.s when it comes down to quickly changing desastrous habits and interests .

Especially when it is being sold to the Oil Companies.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

As are many things in life, Willie Nelson is an aquired taste. I was among his many fans at an open air concert outside Nashville last evening.

Getting older - still great. 8)

I didn't even know we had 39 people. I feel like a radio talk show or something. People are interested in what we have to say. 39 of 'em! I'd like to thank the academy............
