To all those willing to actually do something about climate change
http://climateprediction.net/
You can now take part in the biggest experiment to predict climate changes and forecast the climate of the 21th century by allowing your compûter to take part in it .
Climate prediction uses an incredible amount of computing power due to the extremely vast amount of parameters involved so a wide array of computers can perform this formidable task .It costs nothing and will help to secure the future of your children and grandchildren .

One should consider that with global warming, more evaporation occurs off the oceans, to form more clouds, which cool the atmosphere back down, a buffer system.

what if i don't have any children or grandchildren
i don't see why i should have to do favours for other peoples kids
no thanks
i'll sit this one out
the only way to save the planet is to get rid of the human population
in my own way i'm doing that the only way i know how

Europe is the most densely populated continent.

it can't be
Europe isn't a continent

its ok G.V. no need to splutter
we know you biblically minded guys have no idea about geography
hence 40 years to cross 800 miles of desert (Exodus)
or 24 hours to cross the same distance (Jonah)
God set a precedent didn't he

Jonah's pappy, Amittai, may have been a wealthy wine man from Gath-Hepher on the lower Galilee, near Bethlehem, so Jonah could afford passage to Tarshish/Tharsin (the ruins of which are in and under Seville, of that great ancient mining region), so Jonah could have bought horses along the way, and reached the sphere of influence of the mighty Assyrian Ninevah after a 1 day ride, and 2 two days after that, there he was, you've got to learn to think out of the box, Marduk.

The finding is relevant to the ongoing climate change discussion, IUB geologist Simon Brassell says, because it portrays an ancient Earth whose temperatures shifted erratically due to changes in carbon cycling and did so without human input

Yes and no.
More evapouration does lead to more clouds. Some of which reflect solar energy back out into space, thus aiding cooling
But others aid the greenhouse effect by reflecting outgoing radiation back down to earth.
Hence the reason why cloudy nights are warmer than clear ones.
The overall balance is complex and has not as yet been adequated factored in to climate modelling. But IMO more cloud is not good ....

If dense cloud cover from much greater evaporation enveloped the earth, do you not think that would cause cooler summers (and warmer winters), with much greater precipitation?

I would expect summers to be as warm or warmer too. Andthere'd be higher humidity. Sounds awful. I would also expect the ice sheets to melt (due to higher temps and increased rainfall) leading to higher sea levels.
Hmm, sounds positively Cretaceous!
Of course, such events would late a long time to evolve and there are innumerable complications. I don't think any modelling has envisaged such a scenario though.

Clouds and rain cool down the atmosphere, didn't you know that?

It's not that simple.
What's the main greenhouse gas? I'll give you a clue: it's
not CO2
What happens when water vapour condenses? It release heat into the atmosphere.
Although low level clouds do effect overall cooling on the surface, the consequences of having total cloud cover as a result of greatly increased evapouration from the oceans, coupled with the effects of increased atmospheric water vapour, is rather difficult to determine *
Of course, if you really want to warm the planet, the best thing is to fly more aircraft. Them contrails are greating at forming sheets of cirrus, reflecting back heat from the surface, and keeping Earth snug and warm.
*a technical way of saying no-one knows

Imagine how hot in the summertime would be jolly old England without the clouds and rain.

Essan what is wrong with you? Are you simply humoring this wacko as a favor to Marduk or have you forgotten everything about atmospherics?
I know that you know better than this. You're about to lose all credibility here. Not that you'll lose any sleep over that.
