I disagree. A trained person would have to deaf, dumb, and blind to the evidence not to understand that many of the examples of so-called stonework are actually jointed bedrock. An international team is not needed to see that people are excited about naturally jointed bedrock. The majority of the junior and sophmore students in the beginning Physical Geology "101" laboratory classes, which I once taught as a Teaching Assistant, should be able to determine whether the so-called pyramids exist or not. The undergraduates in a college level class in structural geology or sedimentology could easily determine their origin.stellarchaser wrote:I agree, but I'm still convinced that expert geology team should examine whole site more thoroughly, As barakat and Hadidi suggested.
Given that there have been people living on this hill and building stuff all through Neolithic, Medieval, Roman, and historic times, there is no question about people have been building on and reshaping this hill all of the time. The problem, as I see it is that these archaeological remains have been conflated in various people’s imaginations with naturally jointed bedrock and other natural features to create a chimera, much like Archaeoraptor, which is being mindlessly promoted as real despite innumerable “red flags” that all is not what it is claimed to be.I also agree with this, but I'm leaving open an option that civilization which possibly could reshape the Visochica Hill

The undergraduates in a college level class in structural geology or sedimentology could easily determine what is going on. The only mystery here is how a geologist can get a PhD in geology and be completely incapable of recognizing such typical and commonplace geologic features, i.e. jointed bedrock, Leisegang banding, and folded bedrock, which even the vast majority of the undergraduate students, who finished my beginning Physical Geology "101" laboratory, could do.stellarchaser wrote:I agree, but I'm still convinced that expert geology team should examine whole site more thoroughly, As barakat and Hadidi suggested.
For example, the below pictures are clearly in naturally jointed bedrock.

Picture 2. http://www.bosnianpyramid.com/images/Bo ... /moon3.jpg

Picture 5. http://www.bosnian-pyramid.com/gallery/ ... m_s1_9.jpg
Picture 6. http://www.bosnian-pyramid.com/gallery/ ... 020573.jpg
Unless you agree with Dr. Michael Cremo that modern man existed during the Miocene, it is impossible to explain how a person could get man-made stonework interlayered with Miocene lake deposits as shown in Pictures 1 and 2 above. Also, the presence of ripple marks, i.e. Pictures 3 and 4 above, which in some pictures shared the same orientation and cross the breaks in the blocks, on the surface of the blocks clearly show that the layer of stone blocks was broken up in situ. There are straight lines in some of the jointed bedrock. As shown below, the closely fitted lack the parallelism of the sides of the blocks and the uniformity of dimensions that would be expected of man-made blocks as seen in Picture 5 above. In Picture 6, a person does not even even see any sort of rectilinear blocks. I can understand where people lacking both training and expertise in geology might be confused about the origin of the above stone blocks.
Also, only someone, regardless of whether they have degree in geology or not, has to be a complete functional illiterate in their understanding of geology not recognize the below pictures as being nothing more naturally folded bedrock. The pictures are;
Picture 7. http://www.piramidasunca.ba/news/23060602/P1010057.jpg
Picture 8. http://www.piramidasunca.ba/news/23060602/P1010061.jpg
Picture 9. http://www.piramidasunca.ba/news/23060602/P1010056.jpg
Picture 10. http://www.piramidasunca.ba/news/23060602/P1010060.jpg
I know that “functional illiterate” is a strong and, at worst, impolite, and, at best, undiplomatic. However, I do not how else to describe the remarkable lack of expertise and knowledge being exhibited by people, who should know better, in their interpretations being made at this site. Otherwise, intelligent people, are making interpretations that the typical undergraduate student, who finished a beginning Physical Geology "101" laboratory, could recognize as being quite wrong.
Given that there have been people living on this hill and building stuff all through Neolithic, Medieval, Roman, and historic times, there is no question about people have been building on and reshaping this hill all of the time. Scientist´s Conclusion "Yes there is something great"
On 23 June, just one day before the scientific conference in Sarajevo the Austrian team accompanied the two geologists Dr.Amer Smailbegovich and Dr.Aly Barakat on their field trip around and up and down Visocica Hill.
We were protected by a snake finder and lead by Mr.Zombie with the machete as the terrain is steep, jungle like and dangerous. We turned every stone to investigate its compound, orientation and source of layer.
This is what Dr.Barakat told me as his personal conclusion after 40 days of study:
1.Visocica and Pljescevica Hill clearly show signs of being shaped by man.
2.Nature cannot form Breccia and sandstone into equally sized square blocks, neatly put together to fit four perfectly oriented sides of a pyramid shaped hill.
3.Man obviously shaped the stone blocks, polished them, cut in form and covered the sides of the hills.
4.Purpose, age and culture is unknown.
5.The hills were there and man shaped the natural breccia and sandstone layers

What's a 'snake finder?'
