Note that there are observers at the bottom of the hill...uh, pyramid, who are clearly looking up at them!

Ciko, I am not at all convinced, but I remain hopeful that there is a significant discovery there. Keep posting.

No, Sam said he confirmed. We all know Sam has a strange way of seeing things.
Ciko wrote:he said that bosnian pyramid stone blocks are identical to egyptian stone blocks , same material
So "they" (aliens?) hauled them all the way from Egypt?

sorry but i can't just take someone's word for it especially given the sparse declaration in ciko's post. the picture's don't show enough and do not suport a pyramid like structure.

i guess oz is going to have to destroy the whole hill before anything definitive is decided. it is assured that he has found somethings, but a pyramid--i highly doubt it.

Egyptian experts back pyramid theory

Leading geologists from Egypt have confirmed that the pyramidal structure discovered near the town of Visocica is indeed a pyramid. Dr Aly Abd Barakat (an expert on Egyptian pyramids) visited two areas of excavation - the north and east faces - at the structure, which is now known as the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. His conclusions about the blocks on the eastern face is that they are of a similar construction to those found

in Egyption pyramids - the blocks are handmade and polished; in Egypt, stones were polished to reflect the sunlight. Barakat also believes that the blocks, 4m x 1.5m in size, were brought here from a different location. Some of the blocks in the eastern face of the pyramid have been laid on top of each other, to a depth of four blocks. This gives some

indication of the massive size of the ancient construction. After studying excavations on the north side of the pyramid, Barakat concludes that the blocks here are handmade and have been created using a mould to form the blocks, which consist of an ancient 'concrete'-like mix. He also noticed a white line some 0.5cm thick between the blocks, indicating a cement-like substance has been used to adhere

the blocks together. A similar method has been seen in the construction of the Egyptian pyramids. Barakat went on to visit another excavation site located at the base of Pljesevica Hill, which is named the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon.

He concludes that the 'steps' that form the sides of this pyramid are made by human hands. Some 20m above this part of the

excavations, he noticed a large number of blocks placed symetrically, proving they too are manmade.

Big deal. More generalised photos, and a "quote" lifted DIRECTLY from Osmanagich's own website! www.bosnianpyramid.com/index_files/News.html
Anyone needing a good laugh should scroll down that page to the pictures showing stones with "mysterious writing" on them. Are they desperate to find a pyramid or what?

Yes, it is; scroll down the home page to the open letter he wrote to a sceptic. At the end of it, he describes himself as "Chairman of the Board of Directors" of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation. Not only does that make it HIS site, but also that no "news" report on it is trustworthy.

ALLEGEDLY! An "Egyptian expert on pyramids" that the rest of us can't find any information on, except in Arabic. And I hardly think that website would have published his quote if he'd said it was a load of crap; then again, maybe he did, but we'll never know from that website!
Look, be honest. How much are you getting paid to be press officer for that practical joke?

Hey, RK Awl,
Aren't you being a little harsh with ciko? He is doing his best to keep us
informed. I am glad he is posting these pictures, though they are not entirely convincing.

If Oz is a fraud, I think that will eventually be clear to everyone. If you keep attacking ciko, he might stop giving us the latest info.
Seeing these pictures coming in every couple of days is as close as I
can get to being on a dig!
And just because you can't find someone's name in English is no reason
to discount the expertise of the person.

VISOKO, Bosnia - An Egyptian geologist said on Wednesday that a hill in central Bosnia appeared to be a primitive human-made pyramid of uncertain age.

Geologist Aly Abd Barakat was sent by Egypt’s government to join the local team researching what Bosnian-born amateur archaeologist Semir Osmanagic says are three 12,000-year-old pyramids — the Bosnian Pyramids of Sun, Moon and Dragon.

“In my opinion, it is a type of pyramid, probably primitive pyramid ... (that) we did not know until now,” Barakat told reporters at the dig on the northeastern side of Visocica hill, where huge stone blocks have been found

“It is difficult for nature to create blocks like this and oriented in one orientation,” he said, pointing to compact polished blocks.

He added that sand layers between the blocks were the same type of artificial cement used in ancient Egyptian pyramids. Barakat said detailed study was needed to determine the age of the excavated blocks and the type of the material used, and said more Egyptian archaeologists would join the team in Bosnia.

Osmanagic’s theory about pyramids in Bosnia has been denounced by local and European archaeologists, who say that ancient civilizations in Europe lived in caves and could not build such structures. But the U.S.-based researcher has invited skeptics to come to Bosnia.

“They say that civilizations could not build such objects. I say — here is an object, and I invite them to come and find out from which period it dates,” he told Reuters at the site.

Osmanagic has announced the existence of two more pyramid-shaped objects in the Visoko valley, 18 miles (30 kilometers) north of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo.

you're out of line ciko. RK"s skepticism is well founded and i do not agree with you nor your hero. i find it very hard to believe that an 'expert' would confirm that there is a pyramid there with such scant evidence.

too little is exposed to even hint at the possibility. at least with the other pyramids around the world, we can see what they are. all that is shown in Bosnia are a few blocks, which could have been imported, a pathway, a cave entrance, not much else.

I think a few are getting too overheated about this , there is obviously something manmade on that hill , wether it be a pyramid or a paved nature walk , But , Ciko is posting regular photo updates which I thank him for , and one way or another the truth will out in the end .
Lets just wait and see.
