I did see some "digging for the truth" show in which the fellow was investigating the grail myth.

I can't stand that guy. He reminds me too much of Simcha Jacobovici.

whats wrong with Simcha
from his past work its obvious that hed give a fair and unbiased look at anything to do with the jewish version of the bible hes involved with
heres a few of Simchas past glories:-

*chairperson of the North American Jewish Students' Network;
*founded and chaired Network Canada, the country's national union of Jewish students
*founded the Canadian Universities Bureau of the Canadian Zionist Federation
*served on the National Executive of the Canadian Jewish Congres
*In 1979, Simcha Jacobovici was president of the International Congress of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS).
*special consultant on Nazi war criminals to the Solicitor General of Canada.
*co-founder of the Canadian Association for Ethiopian Jews
*president of the Riverdale Jewish Community Centre which he co-founded.

so as you can see he has no agenda really and is completely unbiased with his documentaries
such as

The Exodus Decoded (2006) (TV)
Secrets of the Ancient World: James, Brother of Jesus? (2003) (TV)
The Struma (2001) (about a jewish refugee ship)
Quest for the Lost Tribes (1999) (not indian tribes)
Hollywoodism: Jews, Movies and the American Dream (1998) (TV) (about how jews made Hollywood)
Deadly Currents (1991) (about roman persecution of jews)
Falasha (1983) Exile of the Black Jews (USA: complete title)

I can't wait until he makes his next documentary
I wonder what it will be about

ah...from what I've actually seen with my own eyes in France, there is SOMETHING in that story...but exactly what it is, still remains unclear.

As the legend has it, MM did not marry into royalty, she brought with her a daughter or as in some things I've seen, twin daughters, and it was desendents of those folks...

AH peasant???...try to remember your bible here :D Jesus was royal...remember? The house of David? Can't get more royal than that...at least not to the Hebs. Unless of course the virgin birth is true, and there is such a thing as virtual sperm..in which case, SON OF GOD? HELLO, now that's ROYAL :D

Genetic Swamping

As seen from the quote above, we were discussing mitochondrial DNA and I guess the question was asked if DNA can be swamped how reliable can it be as a method of identifying groups. I thought mtDNA could not be swamped, but thought it better if someone who is recognised as an expert explain it better. I think they are confusing normal Y-DNA commonly used for genealogical family studies.
Much work has been done on the study of DNA haplogroups and migrations of peoples throughout the globe. Please see the following for a brief overview:

https://www3.nationalgeographic.com/gen ... atlas.html

By adjusting the mapping options on the bottom left you can trace the migratory routes of yDNA and mtDNA into the Americas separately. It becomes apparent that it is easier to trace mtDNA than yDNA since mtDNA is not "swamped". If there is any "swamping" (i.e. displacement) it occurs on the yDNA side. A good question to ask is this: mtDNA X winds up in 3% of the North American population which original yDNA counterpart came with it? I have only run into one person who could give me the correct answer: Marduk. And yes, it was displaced over time. 8)

That reminds me of that XIAN archeologist (cough) who claims to have found blood from JESUS and the ark of the covenant..and claims to have had DNA testing done on the blood which he claims (although he has not submitted his "sample' which dripped onto the ark of the covenant at the time of the crucifixion {I promise you this is his story}) and that this blood shows the DNA of only one parent...since Jesus was born from virtual sperm he'd only show the DNA of Mary :D which this guy claims to be able to prove.

Now, someone get me a doobie. Jesus as a Chimera would be a far more entertaining story.

Jesus was royal...remember?
I remember he was unmarried
which means that the Magdelen was an unmarried peasant with kids (allegedly)
so what makes you think an unmarried jewish peasant with kids would end up marrying into royalty

Clubs, I was thinking more along the lines of Alfred E. Newman. Then again, weren't they the same person?

Maybe more than one of you have been smoking your lunch.

It is strange to me how so much energy is spent discrediting the bible and relegating its characters to the realm of myths and fantasies. Then five minutes later we are being asked to consider that certain european royals may actually be descendants of these mythical individuals. There have been countless mythical genealogies, most perpetrated in the middle ages or later which attempt to tie europeans to the sons of Noah. As for the Meravingian genealogy, it has been thoroughly debunked countless times. Most of these connections are false and intentional misrepresentations in order to achieve some type of legitimacy in the eyes of the faithful serfs who would die supporting their expansionist ideals.

Roach your doob, grab a handful of corn chips and let your head clear.

Brown did classify his work as a "novel."
