Kinda like Herodotus mentioned facts about ancient Herakleion, which is now on the seafloor off Alexandria on a paleo channel of the Nile which dried up when the Ice Age ended (and when the sea engulfed Herakleion and Menouthis).

Menouthis, incidentally, was a son of Atlas.

Hey Marduk, since you think Herodotus was lying when he said there was a Herakleion (known to the Egyptians as Rahinet), then of what are those megalithic ruins of a temple, citadel, statues, paving stones, and walls, about five miles from shore, near Alexandria, on an underwater hummock, next to a dried-up paleo channel of the Nile, are they not really there, supposedly, like the ruins aren't really submerged in the Gulf and Cambay, and all the other sites which I have noted?

you mean the well known spot for divers that you are claiming no one investigates

A new tourist attraction has found its way to historical Alexandria. Wreckdiving is a dive into history where entire cities, palaces and ships from Pharaonic and Graeco- Roman times -- dating as far back as 300 BC lie beneath the Alexandrian shore.
