Well, I once knew an old librarian named Alexandria. She had some kind of blemish or wart or something on her face. It looked like a single Rice Krispie. As if one had fallen from her spoon that morning and rested unnoticed on her cheek, just below her left eye, for the rest of the day. Often we wondered how she could bear it. God knows,
we couldn't!
But she was an old lady, and no one had accused her of even being "hot," much less "burning" for at least the last half century.

I had a nut board once. Had a built in nutcracker and everything. Handy little sucker to have around during the holidays. You know, when everyone's wantin' nuts and such. I'd crack pecans, walnuts, hickory nuts, Brazil nuts, macadamias, whatever you wanted. Well, except peanuts. Those I can crack by hand.
The sucker came with those pointy nut pickers, you know, the kind that you can pull out the pecan parts with. Man you have to watch out for those things, they are
sharp Put one up my nose once, like to have never quit bleeding.
And, oh yeah, by the way,
doesn't this damn board have an "ignore" button, or are we too dadgum polite for such a barbaric device?
