your bias is showing through. if they can do it for one they can do it for another
Religion, however, walks around claiming that it is the TRUTH and has ALL the answers.
someone needs to as the secular world certainly doesn't have any, they waste their lives searching and searching when it is all right there waiting for them.

no, just avoiding the fairy tales of ice agers and evolutionists. i find it interesting how a moral and divine book is always accussed of doing what it speaks against. if those accusations were true then the Bible would be worthless and we wouldn't be having these discussions.

IF there is or was a Deity that created us and the world around us such as it is today why bother with intelligence or free will at all .What a contradiction .By theway Arch,we are not searching as you claim, call it studying as the claim you bestowe on us invokes a search for metaphysical knowledge .As far as I am concerned we are analysing Noah's arch story here.Find yourself a definition of analysis that is acceptable by scientists (as you claim to use science ) and apply it ,in other words no arguments of faith please,as I can use all your arguments against you ad absurdum ,remember the great spaghetti monster ? Faith only points to itself and leads nowhere .
So what happened to the last story about the Arch in Iran ?Another bummer ?

Yep. Turns out the 'petrified wood' is actually phyllite - a common metamorphic rock similar to slate.
Here's a supposed piece of noah's ark:-

And here's a picture of a piece of phyllite:-

I wonder if one could make a pyramid out of that?

in comparing the two pictures, though there are similarities they don't look alike. one looks like petrified wood while the other looks like a rock.
i am not arguuing any perspective here except what is in both pictures.

would you want people to be robotic follwoers of you or would you prefer they have the freedom to choose so they will be happiest?
in other words no arguments of faith please
sorry but you don't get to put the restrictions on how i use science just as i don't put restrictions on how you use it. i can use faith because science will not provide all the answers and to draw a conclusion from incomplete data is letting one be led down the garden path.
Faith only points to itself and leads nowhere .
faith does lead somewhere and without it we can't please God.
So what happened to the last story about the Arch in Iran ?Another bummer ?
haven't heard anything yet and i haven't checked their website for awhile. itisn't important that the arkis found as the sea shells and other ocen items provide enough proof.
Find yourself a definition of analysis that is acceptable by scientists
sorry but i don't please scientists nor do they own the field of science and get to make the rules. if they don't like to bad. i don't play your game as i am not the one in the dark. you want to talk about biblical accounts you go by God's rules not your own.

Well, having seen many outcrops of rock identical to the alleged 'petrified wood' as well as a few example of genuine petrified wood, I beg to differ.
It's patently obvious to me that they are both the same type of rock and that neither is any more petrified wood than it is cream cheese.

i am not doubting your opinion i am looking at the texture of each sample and i can see some difference between the two,. nor am i arguing that it is part of the ark, i could care less if it is or isn't.

Every religion known to man....especially your jesus-based stuff...would prefer those robots.

actually we don't prefer robots, just those who want power and control over others.

You really are out of step with the powers-that-be, aren't you?
Religion is about blindly believing whatever these phony holy joes tell their followers. How else do you get people to strap themselves with dynamite and blow themselves to kingdom come?
