and i won't asitis not germane to the topic. the attributes of God send us into theology not archaeology though the line blurs at times.

These clowns are trying, and not just in the US, to have their fantasies either replace proper science or be taught on an equal basis. For example, where do these people think the new antibiotic-resistant diseases come from? They have evolved in an arms race with nature that we must win. Scientific research is the way to wage this battle - an approach based on evidence not faith. Saying that harmful things such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus are made by Satan is not helpful. Learning biology is. This is not a matter of denying a person the right to worship and believe as they wish - it is a matter of stopping them telling YOU what to believe via their subversion of the education system. Fairy tales may be comforting and make you feel good - but they are no way to try and organize, care for, and live peaceably on a crowded planet in the 21st century.

that doesn't disprove, God creating life,or intelligently designing humans, allit prooves is thatthose who say they believe are not using the intelligence granted them by God.

true christianity does not eliminate science but puts it in its proper place, bad christianity refuses to follow scripture and gain knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

true christianity attributes creation to God and that evil, sickness, death etc. entered at the fall of man, it also acknowledges and realizes that evolution is impossible as all evidence points tothe Biblical record and not some man made theory.

Their endgame is to speed the promised arrival of a messiah.

With that goal in mind, mega-church pastors recently met in Inglewood to polish strategies for using global communications and aircraft to transport missionaries to fulfill the Great Commission: to make every person on Earth aware of Jesus' message. Doing so, they believe, will bring about the end, perhaps within two decades.

kind of sad isn't it. these men with their resources could be doing so much more to help people and aid the cause of Christ yet they spend their time trying to do something that is beyond their control and power.

no, just trying to say that true christianity doesn't debunk science nor insult intelligent people involved with that field, just some of the theories and conclusions they try to pass off as true.

i am reminded of the story of the guy who had a monkey as a pet, and trying to housebreak sd. monkey. every time the monkey shit on the floor he'd grab it, swat it on the ass and throw it out the window into the yard. monk learned quick; he'd shit on the floor, swat himself on the ass and jump out the window.
