Bob,

There appears to be some wee gremlins wandering around. It's being worked on, hopefully, without a crash.....

Yep. I get "Debug Mode" messages when I submit a note. But when I reload the page the note was posted anyway...

According to those websites, Osmanagich has already decided that it's the 'first European pyramid' before it has even been excavated.

Digging starts on 'Europe's first pyramids' in Bosnia
April 14, 2006

VISOKO, Bosnia-Herzegovina -- Excavation work started on Friday on what a Bosnian explorer claims to be Europe's first pyramids in an area north of Sarajevo.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Just watched a report on the BBC news and listened to Osmanagich make all sorts of claims for this site-before it's been excavated. It all seems a bit suspiciously like a tourism ploy-or maybe I'm just a cynic.
The news report ended with a shot of a local standing with one of the souvenir 'Pyramids' in his hand, and a look on his face that said 'what the hell'.... :D

Initial research on the hill, known as Visocica, found that it has perfectly shaped, 45-degree slopes pointing toward the cardinal points and a flat top. Under layers of dirt, workers discovered a paved entrance plateau, entrances to tunnels and large stone blocks that might be part of a pyramid's outer surface.

Atlantis

Post by gunny »

Yes-----Part of the Atlantis survivors went to Central America and the others went to Boznia. The aliens had a dispute with the Mayans and chose the Boznian unit to hollow out and make a base for the flying saucers. I am sure the Archaeology person will agree. It is so simple.

new astrea magazine from march 2006

you can listen to the interview whit osmanagich , english
It seems like he has a financial interest in the idea.
Apparently Bosnian Muslims feel that they are
underestimated by the "West" and are eager to prove that their ancestors could do something like this.
That is stretching the concept of "ancestor" well beyond the breaking point.

That area has only been overrun about 50 times by anyone passing through. The gene pool must have gotten watered down a bit. It's like Zahi Hawass rambling on that his 'ancestors' built the pyramids of Giza.
If all your ancestors vere different individuals, you would have more ancestors than lived on Earth at the time. There is a quite possibility that the people who build these structures (if they are manmade) are ancestors of us all.
Guest says: 2. bosnia was great country, it was bigger than it is now , and powerfull
When?, i dont se anyone knowing when these alleged structures were build, so it is hard to say if there were a big bosnian country at that time.
RK Awl-O'Gist says: That's a blatant lie; if you go to the 'Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun' site, and click on the 'pyramid' section, Osmanagich says twice (in questions 3 & 14) that the 'pyramids' in Bosnia were built before the end of the last Ice Age.
The place has yet to be excavated, and he can apparently state that for a fact. That kind of suggests the whole 'story' is so much bullshit!
As I understand the radio program from astrea magazine there had been found ancient tools on top of the “structure”, that is his basis for his theory.

Lets se what they find. It doesn’t really matter what that guy thinks, what matter is what is in the ground. If he is unserious (which I cant say from the little I know), he still could have found something interesting.

I’m not that fascinated with pyramids, essential i think they are a way to bould mounds with stone in stead of dirt.
