that's right, force evolution down people's throats even though they have the freedom to study what they want. evolutionists are doing exactly what they accuse the creationists of and thatmakes them hypocrites and wrong.

Perhaps we should kick in the doors of your damn churches and start teaching the fools we find inside about Evolution?

I support the seaparation of church and state but it has to go both ways.

We desperately need Freedom From Religion in this country.

I have to agree with minimalist here

But does this really follow the thread? No sarcasm intended, I am seriously confused :?

At Michelle's request we try to keep the religious discussion to two threads, Star.

evolution isn't part of the Bible and actually there are some schools that teach it as a comparison so it is there already.

but people like you wouldn't present it properly even if you did get the opportunity.

another fatal flaw of evolution lies in its predicitons. first of making predictions would fall into your realm of magic since science is not in the prophetic business which is beyond the natural world. second, no one will be alive to see if the predictions are true thus you are asking, no demanding, that people use faith to adhere to the theory which again puts it into your realm of ---- magic.

though the Bible does do one thing that supports claims to fall in the science category-- it predicted that many would fallaway from its teachngs and believe another theory. guess what, the Bible is right. and at least we get to live to see the predictions come true.

Arch, you sing the same song, over and over and it is no more convincing now then when you started.

You complain about problems with evolutionary theory but you yourself believe in talking snakes, world wide floods, the sun standing still in the sky, people being turned into pillars of salt, and various other ridiculous concepts.

Keep it for your churches and leave science to the realm of education. It is bad enough that idiot parents force that crap down kids throats as it is.

that was a new point not an old one but again your response and the others silence show they donot wish to deal with the reality of evolution and its problems. hapgood (to keep this scientific) devotes a chapter to that topic in his book 'path to the poles'.

instead of yelling about what i am saying or trying to distract from the point--deal with it for a change*

* i learned a long time ago that people do not want the truth, this topic is no different.

Hapgood's book has been pretty well discredited.

Give it up, already.

i think they discredited his pole shift theory nothis chapter on evolution nor the evidence he used when he went beyond his project.

to discredit a theory it first has to be accepted
none of hancocks ever have been as he is an idiot

was he now--is that because he went against the grain and upset 'the club'?

it seems anyone who proposes alternative thoughts get shot down immediately because 'the club' is so closed to new ways of thinking or thinking against what they accept.

no
its because all of his theories fall down at the slightest examination and because he deliberately twists the truth to bolster his ideas without telling the readers the other side of the story

like where he compared the Popul Vuh to genesis and claimed that a previous race must have been incontact with both for them to parallel so well without mentioning that the Popul Vuh was written down after the spanish colonization and actually mentions christianity in chapter two

and then when he goes on about Oannes being a merman despite the fact that hes shown with legs and actually described by berossus as being a wise fisherman
