"On that text, Osmanagic claims that Bosnians are not slavs but that they descend from pre-illyrian inhabitants that lived there 27.000 years ago"

He canot claim...he is just using available data from genetic research in last years which have confirmed that Dinaroid antropological type is eazy traced with the genetic mark-up,that this type is not some mutation between Atlantic and Mediteran antropological types but authonomous, that it is from second wave in proces out of Africa, that have probably lived through ice age in the Balcan area positioning mostly in the Dinarid mountains today which have resulted from southern migration of Illirians and northern migration of Slavs.

Do you have links to papers or articles to that research? When I search for 'dinarid' or 'dinaroid' I only get results for pseudoanthropometry forums, aryan superiority and Stormfront White Nationalist sites.

I think a very few anthropologists still use this sort of classification, but I wouldn't put any stock in it. If you want to trace relationships, genetics is the way to go. And there's a way to go still before we can do that securely in a lot of cases.

Yeah, it's much easier to play with fossils.

According to the Foundation website Mr. Harding refused to Debate Os about the "pyramid." That part was in English, so I don't know what the rest of it said.

Thanks folks. When I stop and think about it, I don't know why A. Harding WOULD agree to have a debate with Os. It's one of those situations where he has nothing to gain in this forum, and could possibly wind up losing "points", for lack of a better word.

Os, on the other hand, has nothing to lose and everything to gain, so to speak.

BTW - Alrom, that is a fantastic view of all the pictures in one spot. I don't seem to be able to find these pages. Thanks again.

i read that letter till i couldn't stomach the bad english anymore and sorry but i think Os has lost it. he sounds more like a raving lunatic than a serious investigator.

he has produced no real written record,, even from ancient sources, that this could even be a possibility instead he is using the absence of any historical record as proof for his theory

to suggest that bosnians have descended from super-race outside of the normal pattern of human development is playing to the emotions and low self-esteem found in the region.
The second activities took a place in underground tunnel complex. International team of geologists, archaeologists, cavers, graphic artists and mine engineers confirmed that the tunnels are created by humans, that they are geologically very old
this bothers me, just because the rocks are very old does not mean that the tunels were dug in antiquity. this is a very misleading statement.
The proof to this thesis is soldiers’ testimonies from previous war (1992-1995) which tell us about “vibration” during bombing/shelling, what is characteristic for objects which contain chambers, rooms, corridors, tunnels, etc.
here he is just describing bomb shelters that have been mentioned in the other thread

in looking at the pictures, i do not see how he has found what he thinks, and now he says he will spend 200 days each year digging--so much for the history on that hill.

Zagor, could you please explain to us what those pictures show that makes you think there's a pyramid at Visoko?

obviously you can't handle constructive criticism. instead of insulting lay out the argument for the pyramid for all i see and read is just wishful thinking and wanting to believe that Os is right.

i think in a few years when Os has made a complete fool of bosnia, he will disappear leaving the country with egg on its face. (might not even take a few years)

A fact which you are equally if not more guilty of when it comes to your bible, arch.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
