Like most women, there are some rocks she'll stare at!
O.K., you've got a point there.

Well, it's finally New Year's here in Arizona.
2006 is now over and 2007 will probably be worse.

Happy New Year to All!
Heres a Clovis blade, found at a new unit, that's eroded just to the point of exposing the Pleistocene gravel strata (Igl):

I'm assuming that it is the upper edge in this photo which was the working edge.
That being the case, it looks quite worn. Any residue?

Your gettin' good at this, Min.
No residue apparent, but who knows. I just lightly washed the piece in the creek water. Alot of wear marks on the cutting edge, though.

Hey Cog.
If your talking about the white stuff, it's carbonate.
I found a big ol' honking ax in situ today, all stained with iron, and heavily fired charred.
I'll try to get that sucker up today.

Oh, it couldn't have been an axe. The Club says there aren't any.

Maybe you should just start 'tagging and bagging' them? A worn piece must have been used on something.

I need help!!
Got any free time coming up?
I can bearly keep up with the recovery and reporting of the artifacts. There's so much more that could be done.
