Hi Ft. I think this link might help you with my point that brain increase had to come before stress made it an advantage, not as a result of the stress.

I look forward to your reply.

Is the aim of this discussion to imply that because man developed heavier brains he is more intelligent, or are you implying some physiological advantage?
The idea of heavy brains or more properly, greater encephilazation equals more intelligence is subject to the interpretation of the individual researcher and very few in neuroscience are willing to whole-heartedly endore the idea:

In addition acedemia is still at a loss to definitively conclude causation for the preference for 'bigger' brains in humans:

Einstein came up with the theory of special relativity based on Newtons work which in turn was based on the work of GalileoSorry Marduk, but Newt doesn't get a mention.

is there anything you actually do know Roy ?

Actually, Newton derived general laws of motion. Einstein developed the law of Special Relativity. The fact is they both predict similar answers when dealing with motion substantially below the speed of light. Special Relativity supercedes the General Laws of Motion and is more precise as speed increases. While Einstein knew of Newton's laws and basic relativistic effects, his formulation was based on an entirely different set of criteria.
They are different altogether.
