They explained that they didn't know how to drive a camel so he informed them that it was simple, especially with this camel. "He stops at red lights and goes when it turns green" They decided that was simple enough, even for a couple of aggies so they bought it. About an hour later they returned to the car lot afoot and demanded their money back. The salesman asked them why and they said;
"Well he stopped at red lights just like you said and went when it changed just like you said, but we were stopped at one red light and these two guys pulled up next to us in a pickup. One of them says to the other 'look at those two assholes on that camel'. When we got off to look the light changed"

Der Lange translated literally from the German means something like "the long". Old English says 'Lang". Maybe he is a tall person. More than likely, it means something altogether different for him.

That wasn't me who posted that pic. It was Bob aka Minimalist. It's a flintlock , possibly a brown bess? I think "Ole Betsy" was a cap and ball. (Not sure though) I never shot a muzzle loader of any type.
