Just keeping it alive until something happens, Arch.
I wonder if Michelle has the capability to "pin" a thread?

i guess schoch's assessment, if negative, will go far in putting this dig out of site and eventually abandoned. i guess i am worried about the impact if he decides to support the claims minus the aliens and other lunatic conclusions.
how long till his visit is over and we get a preliminary report as to his analysis?

Arch, don't ask me why, but after all the abuse he has taken, he is a very nice guy.
He will frame his report in a way that will probably be very kind to them. And that the hill is full of history. It could be restored to show the former glory of Bosnia, yada, yada.
He'll take his time with it though.
I'll keep on watching the drama (soap opera?) unfold in that forum. Pretty interesting.

too bad as then we will have the lunatic fringe taking confidence in that and we will never hear the end of it and we will be inudated with aliens and super races existing long ago.
i thought the van daniken's died out back inthe 90's when his theories found no real substance to build upon? Os seems to be trying real hard to keep such thinking alive.
thanks for the updates, i check the official site infrequently.

Will there be any hill left? I hear that some of the official environmental people are getting upset about all the trees that are being cut down.

On the Bosnian Pyramid forum is a poster who calls himself Merlin. His name is Achim I think. Read his posts if you haven't already. He gives assurances about the archaeology going on. Better yet you could ask him directly. He would know better than anyone here.

Thanks, I do read his posts all the time. But a lot of the hills are being stripped, which worries some Bosnians.

I read it too. Haven't heard of or from one worried Bosnian. As I said, that forum will be the best place to get info from.
I'm only going to bring any interesting updates over here and you'll see them before I do.

It is only a rumour from someone who just came back from there, but the rumour is that the Environmental Agency is getting an injunction out to close the digs. As, the rumour has it, are a power company with a pylon threatened by the dig and the Bosnian archaeological community. But I have no verification, so take it with a grain of salt.

Doug, I have no idea why you would log in here to tell me such silly thing. Obviously it is some sort of connivance on your part.
I can only imagine that it has something to do with your activities on the Bosnian Forum. You have asked me which one was Ciko. I have watched you folks attack people and accuse them of being other people.
I don't know why that is important to you and your other maat members. I enjoy reading the posts - I have not "outed" any maat members, nor anyone. I hold myself to a little higher standard.
I'll come over there later today, and I may register.

Beagle, I haven't a clue what you are responding to. I assure you I'm not conniving on anything. I do recall someone saying that a poster had a different name on 2 forums. I don't think it was me or that there are any 'you folks'. You are right, you wrote that Ciko was using a different moniker and being the question asking person I was I asked you what it was.
You were the one who brought up Ciko posting under 2 aliases, not me. Ma'at members vary tremendously, you don't have to have any particular beliefs to post on Ma'at and you get, for instance, ardent believers in Bosnian pyramids posting there.
I post under my own name. It's my personal opinion that that is a good idea, particularly when I've seen people posting under several names on the same forum at more or less the same time, supporting each 'other' as though they are different people. And if I criticise anyone, they know who I am. Most of my critics remain anonymous.

Beagle wrote:Doug I wouldn't do that. If someone wants to post behind a moniker I think that should be respected.
In an earlier post I invited our members to try and identify people, just for the fun of it. To me, it was very easy.
Most of our old Bosnian friends (that drove us nuts) are there, as are your friends.
But publicly - on the internet - I wouldn't "out" anyone. I've pmailed a couple of people but that's it.
Damn. I didn't see this post, and I assume you thought I had.
I think a moniker can be respected so long as people doesn't use anonymity to attack other posters (which sometimes involves them claiming elsewhere that the poster being attacked wrote something they never wrote).
But I still like to know who people are, that's just me I guess.
