To help answer some of these questions, Stafford has begun examining Kennewick Man's teeth. He's working with John Valley, a University of Wisconsin geologist, to decipher the secrets hidden in the worn enamel of this enigmatic fossil.
From the fossil's tooth enamel, they'll learn where Kennewick Man lived as a child, the kinds of food he ate, from where and whence he traveled, and when he died.

Even you will have to admit, ain't science great. Can't wait until they find something out. I've been debating with some friends for ages that he is not an ancestor of any of the N.A. tribes claiming him. Then I feel that anything 5000 years or older should be considered fair game to be examined for all of us to know about.

Oh, I have no problem admitting that science is great....I far prefer it to "Faith."
Still....sometimes I have trouble with scientists, though.

I'll have to agree with you about the faith. But I've met some pretty nice scientists That is nice in a wierd sorta way, but okay just the same.

I have no problem with the weird ones....it's the straight-laced types who never consider anything outside of their own narrow fields that bug me.
We need more 'renaissance men' in this world.
Too many specialists.

But . . . . what kind are you? Weird or straight-laced?

Do "they" have any type of time schedule for the latest data on Kennewick Man?

You mean as in "When will they publish the final report", gunny?
Your guess is as good as mine. I only hope it won't take as long as the Dead Sea Scrolls...

I wouldn't hold your breath...there's too much vested political interest in maintaining the 'Native Americans were first' scenario.

AS with the Scrolls----perhaps Kinnewich will be sold to a Jewish businessman.
