Before I left for Greece you mentioned something about a National Geographic show that was going to be on while I was gone.

Was it the one about the Mammoth extinction and the meteor theory?

Because it's being repeated now and I'm recording it.

It sure was. That's great. Naturally I'd like a copy whenever you can send it. Thanks.

Thanks. I have to go Christmas shopping for most of the afternoon, but I'll watch it this evening.

That was a pretty good shot to the server.
We haven't been down that long for about a year and a half. I think 3 days is the record.

Min, and anybody that watched the "Comet" show, I was a little disappointed with it. I thought the presentation was out of order, and quite a few facts were left out.

They spent too much time, I think, on the impact material in the mammoth tusks and the "black mat". There was very little discussion of the disappearance of the Clovis culture, and the radiation evidence at various archaeological sites like Topper wasn't even mentioned.

I enjoyed watching it, but anyone who was not already familiar with all the facts would not have gotten anything out of it, imo.

I thought they went a little too far afield with the supernova stuff and the earlier, alleged, meteorites.

I don't know that TV is a good medium for complex stuff like this. 44 minutes after commercials doesn't leave a lot of time.
