Haven’t we seen this spiral rock carving all over the world?
Outdoor exposure, inside mounds and tombs, at stone circles.
I guess, in all kinds of surroundings.

It's one of the most common symbols and imo, it's not a clock.. 8)

Philistine pottery shards with the swirl pattern....and the Philistines were Greek. So, yeah, it's pretty common.

Greek? In that case the Philistines then could also be called Thracians, Macedonians, Myceneans, Minoans, Cypriots, and Levantines, imho.

Amihai Mazar used the word "Hellenic" which I translated as "Greek."

Given the time period (c 1200 BC) Mycenaean would be most likely.
