OUR BOMBS & MISSLES?

WORD IS THAT OUR OLD ATOMIC BOMBS AND MISSLES STILL HAVE VACUUM TUBES !!!! DO THEY GO TO RADIO SHACK FOR REPLACEMENTS?

Wouldn't surprise me, after all NASA surf the net for electronic compnents for the Shuttle apparently.
But actually Gunny, tubes are no less reliable than solid state stuff despite all the sales pitches and in fact are less prone to damage from radiation.

And that's important in an atomic bomb because when they go off there is a lot of radiation!

Most essential military computing equipment is'hardened' agains EM pulses Zan.
The Mig 25 was found to use tubes in its AI Radar.
