One has to wonder if the dry climate helped preserve this find. It's great that they found it but, for all we know, HNS may have built drive-in movies on the continental shelf 100,000 years ago and we wouldn't know because the sites are underwater.

What struck me about this story is that the engravings are on the ocher.

These guys not only drew pictures or decorated themselves, but they were proud of the tools they used to do it with.
