Invertebrates can do it too!

Here's a veined octopus, observed for the first time to be digging up half a cocoanut shell, cleaning it out, 'walking' with it, and finding another half cocoanut shell to create 360 degree armor!!!

Weird.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Well, they are supposed to make up 95% of the species on Earth.
There should be some smart ones in that kind of numbers.

What amazes me is: he seems to know what he is doing! That doesn't look like instinct or reflexes. It looks very much like considered logical thought, a.k.a. reasoning, deduction, and reflection...! Rational purposed capacities long thought to be uniquely human, in the last 20 years hesitantly, but inevitably 'surrendered', in the face of a mountain of scientific evidence, to include other primates. But now even invertebrates look capable of it!
