Fossil discovery fills gap in human evolution
‘We just found the chain of evolution, the continuity through time’
WASHINGTON - The latest fossil unearthed from a human ancestral hot spot in Africa allows scientists to link together the most complete chain of human evolution so far.
The 4.2 million-year-old fossil discovered in northeastern Ethiopia helps scientists fill in the gaps of how human ancestors made the giant leap from one species to another. That’s because the newest fossil, the species Australopithecus anamensis, was found in the region of the Middle Awash — where seven other human-like species spanning nearly 6 million years and three major phases of human development were previously discovered.
“We just found the chain of evolution, the continuity through time,” study co-author and Ethiopian anthropologist Berhane Asfaw said in a phone interview from Addis Ababa. “One form evolved to another. This is evidence of evolution in one place through time.”

Fossil discovery fills gap in human evolution
‘We just found the chain of evolution, the continuity through time’
let's take a closer look, shall we...:
Teeth and bones from the hand, foot and thigh are among the fragments of the Australopithecus anamensis fossil
scant evidence... jump to conclusion
We just found the chain of evolution, the continuity through time
The species anamensis is not new, but its location is what helps explain the shift from one early phase of human
illogical as how would location determine order and relativity--more like wishful thinking
And Thursday’s finding is important in bridging — but not completely — the gap between Australopithecus and Ardipithecus.
declatory statement at top of page undermined by the details
This appears to be the link between
again wishful thinking-- undermines declatory statement and credibility
The finding does not completely rule out Ardipithecus dying off as a genus and Australopithecus developing independently
conclusion again is undermined by more details and wishful thinking
This draws the lines better
how does he know, there is nothing to corroborate the find or the conclusion--------------------------
if you want to be fooled by this then i won't stop you but your basing your beliefs on nothing.

no, you can't answer the holes i have found inyour discovery. it is not my limitations that hinder anything but yours.
plus in looking at the picture if that is all they found to base their thinking on then i would have to laugh as it shows nothing but a different set of bones not the evolutionary theory. your desire to believe the theory is filling in the blanks not science.

Yeah, Tech...
Clearly this stupidity
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
beats the hell out of any scientific study.
God must be one hell of a loser if the best he could do was create man in his 'image.'

again the respondants have resorted to personal attack demonstrating their inability to defend theirposition or substantiate the claims made. all they have are declatory statements and conjecture no proof.

How could God creat man in His image? An image is a reproduction or imitation of the form of a person or thing therefore a spirit would not have an image to copy. As a spirit He would be devoid of sexuality and asexual, neither male nor female. So why would he chose male?
If he did make man in His image, that explains why he made female.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.

I'd be willing to concede that god made arch in his image. Leona.

THAT is just about the scariest thing anybody could conceive of without being certifiably crazy. OR, maybe that's why the world is in such a mess. If Arch is what people have to look forward to when they get to heaven, they're in for a hell of a shock. But if they think like him, they deserve each other. Does that mean the intelligencia will party in hell.
I'll save you guys a stool at the bar.
