The remains of a venomous, feathered beast that terrorised prehistoric forests like a predatory turkey have been unearthed by fossil hunters in northern China.
And to think that people laughed at Ben Franklin when he wanted the turkey as the national symbol instead of the eagle.

I have vague memories of something like that in New Orleans one year.
There were feathers involved.
