While there are believed to be extravagant deposits of oil shale in the West what Numbnuts Bachmann fails to mention is that they have been known about forever and no one has figured out a commercially viable way to extract them.
Never confuse a republican with facts, though.

Who are these people? and where do you find them?
I am always hearing about people like this, but somehow never seem to encounter them in my own life...

Some trillions of cubic ft of shale gas have been located in and around Blackpool by drilling test wells. Blackpool has since suffered a number of small Earth tremors.

But wait, similar in Switzerland and drilling halted!
