As I pointed out elsewhere the gloom and doom merchants, here in after call Prophets, have been predicting the 'End' for about 6000 yrs. Not a good track record is it?

Hey Min! Your observation reminded me of the title of a sci-fi book I read many years ago...
I LOVE post-apocalyptic sci-fi! Try reading Earth Abides by George R. Stewart. It's a hoot.
Of course, the major meltdown was a pandemic rather than an asteroid, but it's still entertaining.
