All around and through South America

I realize there is a lot of debate about linguistics.
It is not a “hard” science.
Thus some consider it kind of messy.
I just came across this guy and his idea of the peopling of South America.
And he isn’t even a “pro” in the field.
But when there is a lot of smoke, there may be fire.
I do like his concept of a cultural clash in Central America between southward moving and northward moving peoples.
He doesn’t go into it, (he sticks to SA) but if I understand it right, in the big picture, they started out in the same place, and got to the same place.
Just by different routes and a lot of time.
