You obviously underestimated the power of PR...
No matter the claim, that was no joke. That was a serious attempt to generate publicity. Any publicity is good.
Positive, negative, neutral.
Good, bad, indifferent.
Publicity is good as long as it generates a buzz...
Stimulates interest where interest was lagging...
Some people will dust off their movie collections or rent one of his movies...

After reading some of the comments I have to go with Uni on this one.
Such is the state of education in the US that people don't know what a goddamn dinosaur is....or when they died out.

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
