Re: The timing of the rise in sea levels, part 2
I dedicate this song to two old cranks who just don't get it.
The rest of us don't give a happy damn about your flame wars, your agendas or anything else relating to the two of you.
This song is as meaningful & as relevant as your 'dialog'.
"I'm Henry VIII, I Am"
(originally by Harry Champion)
I'm Henry the eighth, I am
Henry the eighth, I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an Henry (Henry)
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (No Sam)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry
Henry the eighth I am
Second verse, same as the first
I'm Henry the eighth, I am
Henry the eighth, I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an Henry (Henry)
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (No Sam)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry
Henry the eighth I am
I'm Henry the eighth, I am
Henry the eighth, I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an Henry (Henry)
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (No Sam)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry
Henry the eighth I am
H-E-N-R-Y
Henry (Henry)
Henry (Henry)
Henry the eighth I am, I am
Henry the eighth I am
Yeah!
N.B. The ninth line of the song sums up your interaction: Second verse, same as the first...
ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

Re: The timing of the rise in sea levels, part 2
I remember the Herman's Hermits version.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

A few posts ago you did recognise that one side of the “discussion “ couldn't admit to blatant errors , that has continued with fresh errors that have been highlighted .
But you didn't notice that , and /or 'Arry's ninth line is shown to be inappropriate .
Surely that in itself indicates a major difference between the two discussants .
Not so long ago you and Kalopin were incredibly tiresome in responding to each other although in that case your “argument” consisted mostly of hurling large fonted personal abuse and requesting for him to be banned ,
not pointing out the errors ,which would have been more constructive , not for him, but for others reading the posts at the time or later .
Similarly in this case your response to the errors and problems has been closer to the lyrics of Mendelssohn's op.19b (dedicated to all content free loudmouths ) ,than anything by ole 'Arry .
Say nothing and they will persist . We know that reality does not intrude on the believers , the corrections are not for them .

Its hard to imagine, but most of those screaming girls in the Beatles videos are grandmothers now.
And of course there's the question of who's your favorite Beatles,
the ones on speed,
the ones on pot,
the ones on acid,
the ones on coke,
or the ones on coke and heroin.
Of course, NBC is going to have a new comedy about a comet impact with Earth next January:
"You, Me, and the Apocalypse".

For analysis , both harmonic and of the drugs of choice associated with Beatles songs , try the excellent "Revolution in the Head" by Ian MacDonald .

Why don't you ho over to http://cosmictusk.com and vent there?
The best Beatles work is the studio diary.
"Revolution" did not provide sufficient details on their drug use.
Finally, there is the $70 book with charts of all of their songs.
Now shalll we move on to the Grateful Dead?
Or return to Peter Noone and Mickey Most, and the London studio players?

Why not get the cosmictusk to vent here ?
Lewisohn is good on the Beatles .
Revolution is one of the best with the drug use tertiary ,I'm not sure that a more detailed inventory would be that interesting .
The" Dead " , with a couple of exceptions , no thanks .
Whilst Jones and Page did play on some of Noone's recordings , it may not have been the case on Henery .
The Beatles complete scores is very good and pretty accurate .

1) Because George Howard, who runs the cosmic tusk,Tiompan wrote: Why not get the cosmictusk to vent here ?
does not understand that since Clovis tool users were exploiting the Carolina Bays,
the Carolina Bays could not have been formed by 10,850 BCE impact event
2) Because George is completely ignorant of the tsunami levels in the Carolinas
3) Because George does not know the mechanics of lensing in ice impacts
4) Because George does not know the extent of the ice sheets during this period
5) Because George lets Dennis Cox, who sees impact features wherever he lives,
and knows nothing of North American archaeology, participate
6) Because George lets Steve Garcia, who has had his brains scrambled,
and believes in theosophist crustal shift, participate
7) George is a big, big fan of Graham Hancock
Those are some of the reasons I want to send you in his direction, tiompan.
There is no reason I should have all of the fun.

I come by archaeologica to use tiopman's nonsense to get it working.
In all of this, sometimes I fail to notice that the copy buffer has not reloaded.
Here you go:

This time the copy buffer reloaded. - Yeah!
Re: The timing of the rise in sea levels, part 2
EP ,We know where to find the nonsense , it's all yours .
It is proven by quoting , refuting and listing when necessary .
Something you fail to do on all counts .

Well, tiompan, be sure to check that new woodhenge site near Stonehenge for strange stone tools.
Who knows, perhaps some poor guys from North Carolina got blown out to sea and ended up there.
On a more serious note, the questions about henge technology, where it was developed, and how far back it goes, are still all open questions.
We'll all get to see what is discovered in future excavations.
Rude colonial that I am, I'll continue to use the american word "henge" in all future discussions.
