Major find.

Excavators recently unearthed what they think are the ruins of the Acra, a fortress constructed more than 2,000 years ago by the Greek ruler Antiochus IV Epiphanes (215-164 B.C.). At one time mercenary soldiers and Hellenized Jews controlled the ancient fortress, enforcing a brutal rule over Jerusalem's residents.

The Acra's existence is recorded in historical documents, but archaeologists and historians have debated its location. [See Images of the Greek Citadel and Relics]

Hi min -

While these people hold a different set of spiritual beliefs than you do, their comments on this site are very good:

For ongoing excavations in the region:

Spiritual beliefs?

This is just horseshit. The man should be tarred and feathered.
Robert Cornuke has a history of making sensational discoveries in the field of biblical archaeology. He has located Mount Sinai, the Ark of the Covenant, Paul’s shipwreck, and he thinks he knows where Noah’s Ark is.

Hi min -

Your post does not make it clear that the managers of that site are criticizing Cornuke as well,
and that they are supporters of his "work".

I have found that they generally have links to the best excavation reports on sites in Israel and Palestine.

Then they should have said that he has "claimed" to have found those things, not that he has found them. Cornuke is on a par with Ron Wyatt.
