Hi uni -
The manuscript of the only good Cherokee history, which was written by Sequoia's colleague,
was lost in a fire in the Civil War.
I do not know if any part of it survived in the Cherokee newspaper, or in any scholar's notes.
If I remember correctly, there is reference to a copy of it in the U georgia collection, where the copiers had lined up housing for their translators in Washington, DC - probably in the "dark" part of town.
The linked work is late, and probably has a lot of European influence.
I'd check out the original book "A Cherokee Vision of Eloh", before looking at any summary or translation.
