More Adena monoliths

Hi -

Some of you may rememeber that I and my colleague Fletcher Wilson have been working through "Adena" monoliths:

It look like Schoolcraft was interested in them as well:


Now I have to figure out where these were located.

turns out they appear to be from elsewhere - but Schoolcraft is not clear -

That the simple style of rock inscription, among the Mongolian and Tartar races
of the eastern hemisphere, bears a marked resemblance to that of the red race of the
western, is denoted in the following examples. (See figure 6, Plate 66, and figures 1,
2, 3, 4, Plate 67.)

In figure 6, Plate 66, the drawing of a frocked man, with a heart
lying at his feet, is suggestive of the office of a priesthood, among a barbarous people.
The stems of shrubs, sprouting from one lobe of the heart, may symbolize a fragrant
memory. The figures of high crosses raised upon a sort of rampart, appear to indicate
towns, forts, or localities. The circle divided into eight parts, appears to be horologic.

In figure 1, Plate 67, the deer stands as a simple symbol; in figure 2, of the same
plate, the dart has the same value. In figure 3 of this plate, the reader is strongly
reminded of a curious stone map, found on the sources of the Susquehanna, of which
a transcript was published by the Historical Committee of the Pennsylvania Philosophical Society.
In figure 4, as in some characters in figure 2, there is a strong tendency to the ancient rock-alphabet.

my colleague Fletcher Wilson, whose shoulder is out from military service,
walks very well.

We have another 3 of these we know of from colonial records.
And no telling how many more of them at known Adena sites.

The problem is that
Whenever you confront simon with data
showing that the early anglo saxons were lying murdering thieves,
he breaks out into name calling.

I know full well that the very concept of recent small asteroid an comet impacts
is a very difficult concept to handle.
I have developed a pretty thick skin,
and have come to tolerate abusive behavior.

But if you look back,
you will find simon calling tiompan a LIAR,
and being very insistent about it.

In all of our months of back and forth over the definition of henge,
tiompan and myself never adopted by Australian rules.

[I would like to point our that as you can see from today's article on that German henge,
I won that debate with tiompan.
In simon's case,
I have also won that debate;
but he does not know it,
but instead foolishly expects
that he can win it by name calling,
while in truth these actions
do nothing more than demonstrate that he is an idiot. ]

Now you might not want to throw simon out of here,

I may be off in my estimate of your character,
but I think that you did not want to let

I suggrst you take the warning seriously. You have not presented any data (which to you seems to be a magic word), not one iota, and all sources you have tried to use either support my view or have been incomprehensible.

What I stated was that I am 1/8 Shawnee by blood quotient.
I also stated that it is highly unlikely that the Denning's will gain a casino license in Maryland.

There certainly seems to be some shared guilt here.
Something that should have stopped long ago.
I would hate to see either, or both, banned.
Despite their occasional rants, they often have some insightful comments.
