Global warming is pretty nice here in the winter. The last couple of summers have seen some extreme weather.

I got hit earlier with a 70 mph thunderstorm, the same system that hit St. Louis. I've lost two trees, but that's it. Lucky compared to others here. I still have about 39 trees to go.

'Guess I'll get out the chainsaw this weekend.

Ssshhh! The Atlantic Tropical Storm watch is very quiet so far. Even though the Gulf is hotter than hell things remain calm.

The meteorologists report that the first 6 months of this year is the hottest in recorded history.

Alaska is starting to look good. I see a looming real estate boom there.

I think we've had a record number of days in the 90's here in the last 2
weeks or so.
Some big storms, lots of trees down on July 4 and 5.

Sorry to hear about your trees, Beagle. Hope one doesn't fall on your camper. :D
