It's good to have a thread for Darwinian evolutionary news, as the Evolutionary News thread can be used to discuss generic evolution (genetic variation within syngameons), so pure science can be discussed on that thread, and the hypothetical morphing of new kinds of animals can be discussed on this thread.

The current Darwinian thinking seems to be that humans did not evolve from monkeys, as had been previously advertised, now, the thinking seems to be that humans and monkeys both evolved from some mysterious common ancestor, which supposedly may have looked like a tree shrew, so what is the evidence that the monkey and humans both evolved from this unspecified common ancestor?

i went to a lot of trouble to slowly explain just how human evolution occurred and even went as far as naming the species involved and providing links to them

the only person i know who ever thought that darwinians believed that was fundementals who didn't understand what they were being told because they thought they knew everything about human evolution there was to know already (i.e. god did it)
they then decided to ridicule the theory before they knew what it actually was

In your nifty little link, Marduk, you say that "wolves morphed into dogs," well now, aren't you the expert, ha ha, but since wolves and dogs can "interbreed," they are of the same syngameon, and you don't know what in the world you're talking about.

True, the morphing notion had been around for millenia, Marduk, but Darwin modernized it, goo to you style, as you point out, not at all an original idea, but boy have many of the moderns bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Min's mention of the fresh dino bones is about 12 years too late, the lady prof from N.C. State broke that news back around '92, but why did the Darwinists like min not notice it, perhaps because the newspapers, by and large, refused to cover it, and because mainstream scientists see it as threat to their uniformitarian dogma?

You'd think that would have been big news, what with the cloning mania of Jurassic Park and all, so why was the news virtually blacked-out, and why aren't there big talks about using that frest T-Rex material to try to clone a T-Rex, where is everybody, asleep at the wheel?
