Well, arch, the post about raccoons is intended to be slightly humorous, but...

Over several generations, these raccoons could develop subtle genetic changes. Like the bonobos vs.the chimps. And humans would have played a part in it.

The Bloods, the Crips, and now the Raccoons?

all -

first (min) - i'm not going to go for the obvious pun.

second - the usual criminals are throwing hissy fits at each other. nothing new here.

third - there is no evident exchange of ideas. the absolutely amazing thing to me is that i have no need to take the intellectual visegrips to the balls of some of the male members of this site - the squeals of pseudo intellectual anguish are absolutely voluntary. onanistic masochsim?

fourth - why no need? nobody home.

fifth - there is no "true" deity. if you meet either jchrist or buddha on the road, kill both of the bastards, because they are imposters (i know, i repeat myself)

sixth - just what is the subject of this thread?

All these links give the same information, fossilsdiscovered at groundlevel -322 meters.
I' ll make this a casestudy which I think is the best way to discuss anything as we don't go astray and pick up momentum as we advance in the study.
For the moment I only need you to agree on the depth level .Where ever we go from there we go together,ok ?
Untill then I must criticize your attitude which is loke most of the childrenwhom will oppose any reasonable argument with the bold statement 'prove it ' You could have spared me the trouble of having to copy paste all these links, had you at least possesed the natural curiosity to investigate, the most important attribute of a scholar .

for right now i am through talking evolution and concentrating on other topics. you can't make a straight point so i will not even venture a discussion with you.

p.s. given what i have read, i doubt they were found at such depths.

I suggest Arch to find another playground for his biblical nonsense ,he has just proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he is not willing to investigate facts, lpretending to have read these hyperlinks in less than five minutes ,it takes an open spirit to absorb science or as a matter of fact any knowledge at all .It takes only a trained memory to debate religious matters .As he miserably failed to deliver any argument at all to defend his cause I will do it for him ,here http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/15

So here I am playing on both sidesof the field
quoteDennisSwift from the link defending the creationist side of things :n 1999, Dennis Swift (who also was personally acquainted with Javier Darquea of Peru) made a trip to view the figurines. After receiving permission from the local authorities, he began to unwrap the ceramic figures. Dr. Swift noted:

There was an absolutely astonishing moment of breathless magnitude as one object was unwrapped and there before us was an Iguanodon dinosaur figurine. In the 1940s and 1950s, the Iguanodon was completely unknown. No hoaxer could have known of the Iguanodon’s existence, much less made a model, for it wasn’t until 1978 or 1979 that skeletons of adult Iguanodons were found with nests and babies (Swift, no date). [For documentation on the Iguanodon discovery to which Swift alluded, see The Dinosaur Encyclopedia (Michael Benton, 1992, New York: Simon & Schuster, p. 80).] end of quote

It seems odd that Mr SWift is ignorant of the existence of the Iguanodons of Bernissart ,one of the biggest discoveries on this domain , let us see if Arch is better informed on the matters he is refuting .

i have done no such thing, but that is typical evolutiuonust crap... manipulating words to make someone say soemthing they never did.
lpretending to have read these hyperlinks in less than five minutes
now that is an outright lie. read my post again and you will see that i never did any such thing.

why don't you go change your diaper, you are smelling up the place.

p.s. i have the right to withdraw from any discussion for any reason whether you like it or not. you certainly do not have the right to try and force me to participate nor post lies when you have no idea what reason i have for withdrawing.

you have shown your true colors rene, now you can avoid me when i post.

Another of those creationist 's arguments debunked ,irrefutably is of course Dr Dino's claim that humans and dinos are pictured together on ancient artefacts isalso posted in the link from the creationists.
quote c a Burial Stones

Javier Cabrera Darquea came into possession of his first burial stone (from the Ica section of the country of Peru) when he was given one as a paperweight for his birthday. Ironically, he could recall his own father also possessing similar oddly carved stones that his family found in their fields in the 1930s. Dr. Darquea sought out the origin of his unique gift, in an effort to amass a collection of these unique stones, and eventually assembled over 11,000 of them. The rocks turned out to be ancient burial stones that the Inca Indians placed with their dead. Almost one-third of the stones depicted specific types of dinosaurs (such as Triceratops and Stegosaurus) and various pterosaurs. The type of art form represented by these stones, and their location, dated them to the time of the Inca Culture, c. A.D. 500-1500. How could these ancient Indians have known the anatomy of these creatures if they never had witnessed them firsthand?
Well well using fakes to prove the creationist point of view is going to make them look like idiots again .
Could Arch perhaps come to their rescue .Untill now he only accused me of wearing diapers.
Let's see if more proper arguments are available from that source of wisdom.

So I thought this link from yesterdays news fit this thread(as well as this forum)

http://www.time.com/time/health/article ... 52,00.html

The mudslinging is towards the end of the article  But seriously, this is the most informative article I've seen so far on this subject.
It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
