The time to do it is BEFORE the elections.

A good October Surprise is about all that Bush has left.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

The October surprise. Tried and true incumbent strategy for many administrations. Karl Rove used other methods though.

So whatever happens will be a surprise.
