The pentecostals want to hide the evidence of evolution in the backrooms of the national museum of Kenya.

Arch is vociferously defending their right to take mankind back to the Dark Ages.

Birds of a feather.......
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

"When the Missionaries arrived, the Africans had the Land and the Missionaries had the Bible. They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible". Jomo Kenyatta (first president of Kenya)

Funny -- the West (mostly the British) worked so hard to Christianize Kenya starting in the early 19th century. 200 years later, they have been largely successful. And -- big surprise -- the Christians want to burn the heretics!

Getting some great quotes on this page.

Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.

The Good News is that Leakey is very connected politically in Kenya-if he garnered this much attention internationally he made a lot bigger waves there.

Fundamentalist Xtian religions are quite popular in Africa-but not omnipotent.
