The Boys
Charlie, any news at all from the boys? (Bischoff & Sharp). Have you tried to contact them?
Do you need my massive influence to bear upon them?
Just tell them to give you a really old date and I'll go away ... whaddya say?

I have found several of the forums "moments of insanity" quite amusing. Now that I have finally finnished the last of my term papers, I think I will wade through your entire thread. I find this subject very interesting. Not my usual area of interest, but when ever there is new evidence to suggest an older occupation date, I really want to know more, as I question the current theories of migration and the "out of Africa" theory. I know this makes me a bit of a weirdo. but I just don't understand why humans evolved only in S. Africa, when during the reign of pangea both S. Africa and S. America were connected. So I wonder why then couldn't humans have evolved independantly here? especially when the oldest evidence of human activities in the Americas are at the southern end of South America. If they all came over a land bridge wouldn't the oldest be here in the PNW?"though you may have to sift through some of our moments of insanity"

Berkeley
Cool. Warren knows what's happening to the dating of artifacts in the Americas and the can of worms they are opening. They are probably enjoying the amount of squirming and babble-speak taking place at the present time. It's fun to watch old established paradigms die off.I talked to Warren last week and he said we should have some results by May at the latest. He brought up Mike Waters' recent paper dealing another blow to Clovis First. He sounded like he liked the paper.
BTW, Paul Renne, also with Berkeley, is working on the Hueyatlaco site.
He's the one that came in with the 1.1 million B.P. dates.

I am glad to know that I am not all alone in thinking the Americas were populated much earlier than currently believed. (I really do think it is possible that humans evolved independently here) Though at this point in my education, I am basing this on common sense rather than any thing else. I am also happy that I have found a forum in which I can ask these silly questions. As it is difficult for me to ask such in most of my classes, I would prefer to have my degree in hand before I rock the boat too much.

And The Club raises its deadening hand, again.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Clovis-First is looking more and more like a dead issue so you may not have too much to worry about.
