Bark scraper?
Instead of hitting the branch, use it like a plane?

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Another test? That is if you have one you are willing to risk.

Just pick one. It will either scrape the bark away or not.
Also...bark would be a useful commodity by itself, would it not. Scrape it off in long thin strips and use it to make rope? That would have to be useful to primitive people who most likely were not as wasteful as we are today.

Rokcet Scientist
Or long thin strips could be used for basket weaving, or other carry-alls?Minimalist wrote:Just pick one. It will either scrape the bark away or not.

And dried out (a matter of days) they are excellent kindling for fire making!
Very useful commodity, those long thin strips of bark. You don't throw that away.

You know, Charlie, Rokcet makes me think that making spears might have been the lesser use. The bark might have been more valuable for day-to-day survival activities. After all, you can reuse spears.

The idea answers a question that's been bugging me based on the sheer volume of tools you have turned up. If they were in more or less constant use for day-to-day activities it would explain the volume.
