Crab Nebula

From ye news codex of these partes:
http://www.wired.com/science/discoverie ... ntech_0704
The Chinese weren't the only ones to make an early sighting: Astronomers in the Arab world provided their own accounts, and archeological evidence found in North America suggests that Indian sky watchers also recorded the supernova.
Ring any bells with anyone? I've had a quick pog at my Mexican records but 1054 seems to have been a pretty uneventful year.

Aha! Thanks. as usual one of those was staring me in the face (sort of) at least the Chaco Canyon material with which I'm familiar. My brain needs a search engine.
