Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Ya'll do realize that this time frame, around 8,000 B.C. is when the Holocene sea level is slowing down and reaching/establishing it's current sea level as we know it. That in it's self could be a factor of a lake breaching it's natural levee. That's the first thought that come to my mind.
