Virgil's Demi-God City 'Found'

I thnk Virgil was a better poet, storyteller, and propagandist than he was an archaeologist. What I think Archaeology does suggest, is not Trojans, but Minoans after the eruption of mt Stronghyle in 1628 BCE who settled as refugees on the Italian coast. I think the Minoans were already aware of the metal ores in Tuscany, and it would have been a nobrainer to move there given their metal technology which the locals lacked.
Any god watching me hasta be bored, and needs to get a life.

If that were true it would be pretty bad luck to move from the environs of Thera to the environs of Vesuvius to be 'safe.'
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
