The rhetoric that is put out for the masses is one thing, Dig. Reality is something else. India and Pakistan despise each other. Both have the bomb. They haven't used it. I frankly refuse to be drawn into any scenario created by a man like Bush. He has no credibility left on anything.

Oh, and there are quite a few Christians who expect "Jesus" back any day now to accomplish the same trick.

The earth is only in this dimension, Rich.

Frankly, Bush could blow up the whole universe, and it wouldn't even make a ripple in the other dimensions. including the Realms of the Dead.

The only problem will occur when there are no psychopomps to carry the souls over, because they all were blown up too. Some souls will make it through anyway, and some will after a long while finally find their way to where they're meant to be.

BUt those who need psychopomps the most are those who die suddenly, with no warning. Those are the ones who often don't realise that they're dead, and so can get stuck for a long time, even centuries in earth time. If the balloon goes up, there's going to be an awful lot of those.

As regards political credibility, the other day one of our newspapers stated that if Gordon Brown were to hold a single candidate election as in Zimbabwe, he would lose.
You chap isn't even playing in the same league!

One can add "yet" to just about any scenario one can envision, Dig.

The idea that London and New York may soon be underwater (in geologic terms) seems infinitely more pressing than what the Hindu and Moslem crazies may do on the sub-continent.

BTW, the only Socialist Senator we have, Bernie Sanders of Vermont, has introduced a bill for the government to subsidize (finally) solar panels on private homes. It's about time.

True Min, but we have just jailed a fellah for various offences. Amongst his stash of child porn was a man raping a baby so young it still had the umbilical cord attached.
I doubt that type can ever be 'normal'.
