Prostate Cancer.

Here's where you get off topic and off center....Keep it nice, keep it clean, no sniping, no flaming. After that, anything goes.

I posted this on the 'other forum' earlier.

Maggie Thatcher is quoted as saying 'it's a funny old world!'
And she was never more right.
Earlier this week I has a PSA test, one of many as part of the follow up of Prostate cancer.
There are few early signs of the disease so you are reliant on the tests, and so it is with no little trepidation that you approach the GP for the results, and little that can compare with, Clear, no further action necessary!' flashing up on the computer.
So why is the family walking around me? Half an later we were informed that an old family friend is terminal with a brain tumour, and you feel a right s**t!

Great news for you, Dig.

I guess there is rationing on good news, though.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

One thing I have learned from women is that "feelings" do not have to be logical. They just exist.

Glad to hear you're doin' better, Digit.

As for your feelings toward your friend - you feel hurt like that because you really care about them - and that is a good thing.

Red wine seems to be the elixir of life.

If true, I must be very healthy!
