As improbable as it may sound those ancient people the Assyrians are alive today (please forgive if you already know this I don't get out much these days).

Yes the country is gone but the people survive as this very moving performance shows.

Yeah, but if you read todays news, the current guys are trying to flood
Cyrus the Great's mausoleum.
(While claiming they have no intent to do it.)
